Not only will Rosie O’Donnell be returning to Nip/Tuck as Dawn Budge the powerball winner, but rumors are running rampant that she may also star in a Nip/Tuck spin-off with her character.

Rosie will be back for multiple episodes next season, starting with the fourth episode of the upcoming fifth season. Perhaps they will be following the Grey’s Anatomy / Private Practice lead with a spin-off pilot episode within the parent show.

Wow, there has sure been a lot of Nip/Tuck casting news the past few days, and they have signed up another stellar actress to next season of the show. Portia de Rossi, the real life partner of Ellen DeGeneres and best known for playing Nell Porter on Ally McBeal, will be playing a lesbian on the fifth season of Nip/Tuck.

Her character will be a recurring character, as a manipulative mother with a teen daughter who wants plastic surgery.

Lauren Hutton is joining Nip/Tuck next season for at least three episodes, where she will be playing a Hollywood publicist.

The show’s upcoming fifth season centers on Christian Troy (Julian McMahon) and Sean McNamara (Dylan Walsh) as they try to rebuild their plastic surgery practice, McNamara/Troy, in Los Angeles. Model-turned-actress Hutton’s character will bring her star client to McNamara/Troy to get work done.

I think she is perfectly cast for this role!

Guess money talks after all. Joely Richardson will be returning to Nip/Tuck’s fifth season, thanks to a new deal which pays her nearly $100,000 an episode. And not only that, she will only need to appear in 15 of the season’s 22 episodes… similar to Nip/Tuck’s fourth season where she only appeared on 11 of the 15 episodes.

When last we saw Richardson’s Julia, she was ditching Sean (Julian McMahon) and moving to New York. The entire show is packing up and moving to Los Angeles next season and Richardson isn’t expected to appear until the second episode.

Richardson cut her fourth season short to return to England to spend time with her family. Media reports swirled about health issues involving her teenage daughter, though the daughter’s health appears to have improved.

Too bad we still have to wait so long for the new season!

I can’t recall if I have ever seen Nicole Kidman guest star on a television series, but she has signed up to guest on Nip/Tuck.

Nicole Kidman has been signed up for a cameo in Nip/Tuck.

The actress agreed to play the role of a patient having a nasal surgery after meeting the show’s creator on the set of her new film.

Ryan Murphy is directing upcoming film Need, and was delighted when Kidman requested a part in his show.

“I was talking to Nicole recently and she said, ‘I want you to write me a part in Nip/Tuck’. So I think I’m going to write a part where she comes in and she’s wearing that Virginia Woolf nose (from Kidman’s film The Hours). She’s hilarious and I love her.”

No word yet on when her episode will air, but it sounds pretty funny!

Fans of Nip/Tuck will be happy to know that Joely Richardson is NOT leaving the hit FX series Nip/Tuck. Instead, her character Julia will be MIA for three episodes next month. Michael Ausiello hints that her disappearing act will somehow be connected to a hurricane hitting Miami.

Fortunately, Joely will be back!

Rosie O’Donnell is doing double duty by guest starring on tonight’s episode of Nip/Tuck, along with her usual co-hosting duties on daytime talk fest The View.

This episode also includes the infamous sex scene with Julian McMahon where Rose pulled down the tube top on the set after it kept getting in the shot… to which Julian replied “nice boobs”.

A poor Miami woman named Dawn Budge (guest star Rosie O’Donnell) wins the PowerBall lottery — and decides to use part of it for services from Christian (Julian McMahon). Unexpectedly, getting to know Dawn leaves him longing for a loving relationship. Later, Kimber (Kelly Carlson) convinces Matt (John Hensley) to move out of his parents’ house.

This episode airs tonight on FX at 10pm.
